Ellen Kennon Full Spectrum Paints are manufactured by Akzo Nobel, formerly ICI Paints, using their highest quality "Dulux" product line. All Dulux paints are low VOC and the Lifemaster product is VOC-free (perfect for people with allergies) and is a certified "green" product by the U.S. Green Building Council. "VOC" is short for "volatile organic compounds" that are harmful to our health and our environment. When exposed to sunlight, VOCs produce ground level ozone, a major contributor to air pollution, indoors and out--harmful to both human health and agricultural crops.

The International Furnishings and Design Association, an organization of executives representing all aspects of the furnishings and design industry, chose ICI Paints to receive its "Enlightened Product" Award "for outstanding leadership in the movement to protect the environment while helping to beautify it."

Akzo Nobel/ICI has over 400 stores nationwide that can formulate Ellen's colors, once an order is placed through her office. Then, all the customer has to do is pick up the paint at their local paint store.
